Linea 3D for LAUDESCHER • Dec. 18

The WoodLabo designers collective (Samuel Accoceberry, Gaël Wuithier and Benoît Beaupuy) explains how they innovated by developing the Linea 3D range for LAUDESCHER.

As hackers do with software, they “hacked” a 4-sided wood machine to realise new shapes that seem to be made by hands. A development that lasted 2 years.

Workshop – Raymond LOEWY – La Souterraine

From 13 until 17 February 2017, Samuel supervised a workshop for 5 days with DSAA1 students from the Raymond Loewy School at La Souterraine.
The proposed theme was “Inside/Outside/Passage”, as an extension to his research during his residency at the Nontron Experimental Center of Artistic Crafts in 2014.
Thus the students, gathered for the occasion in multidisciplinary agencies, had to materialize their vision of the theme from modest materials (organic cartons, pine sticks …), while taking advantage of Samuel’s know-how.
